Memories, Cookies and Chocolate...wow

Ok umm... yumm!

Right... First bite's done - lets' get to work! (Sorry... couldn’t resist another bite - am a choc-a-holic you know!)

I grew up in a tiny town halfway across the world from where I am now (7 time zones to be exact) where I learned to appreciate good deserts. And wow did I appreciate them! I swear, I should be twice my size...

Anyway...! My mom - lovely lady that she is - would always make this simple thing for me: crushed up biscuits with melted chocolate (sometimes with chopped up bananas too!)... and let me tell you - it’s good! Simple, but good! I'd be home sick from school, wouldn’t want to eat anything, just watching Disney movies, and in the grumpiest mood ever, and what would my mom do? She would bring me a bowl from heaven! honestly felt as though I was given a gift from god with each and every bite (just fyi I still do).

How to:

Get some of your favorite plain cookies - I like these things called morning coffees which are just plain little tiles - crush them up, and put them in a bowl.

Get your favorite chocolate - oh and no American chocolate PLEASE! its just awful! go for Cadbury's or Lindt (best ever!) - put it in a mug, and add some milk (basically so it covers half the chocolate). Stick it in the microwave for about a minute, mixing every so often until it's all warm, pour it into the bowl - and voila! A bowl from heaven! Add some chopped up bananas or strawberries if you like - bananas are awesome! strawberries - mehh.

Takes about 3 minutes to do, and 30 to eat cos it's so sweet!

So if the end of the world came, (end of the world being the day I was limited to only eating one kind of sweet) I would probably choose this one! or cheesecake... or sacher torte... or strawberries... or... ok lets not talk about such dreadful things!

So try it out - and enjoy!!
